Capers Brazzell began his broadcasting career at the age of 8 helping his father, Cleatus, “rip and read” news and weather from a teletype machine. At age 11 he started helping set up equipment for broadcasting sporting events. By the time he was 16 he had an hour-long afternoon program on WELP in Easley, SC. He continued to follow broadcasting by helping at the University of South Carolina-owned FM outlet.
His father bought stations in Waynesboro, Swainsboro and Sandersville from country artist Webb Pierce in 1977, and Cowboy Cape moved to Swainsboro in 1980 as General Manager for the group. He began working full-time at WSNT in 1996.
Today he remains General Manager for WSNT AM/FM and does the “Wake Up WACO” show on WACO 100 from 6-10 every Monday-Friday.
Taylor Everett is Mr. Do-It-All for WACO 100! A high school graduate from Brentwood School in 2011 and a graduate from Georgia Military College in 2014 , Taylor is now able to focus fully on WSNT/WSNT-FM. During his Senior year of high school Taylor participated in the Independent Study Program, which led him to WACO 100.
Taylor Everett is the voice of the Wind-down Waco Show, the live and listener interactive afternoon program at WACO 100. The program runs from 3:30 – 6:00 p.m., has daily give-away meal prizes, and gives listeners the opportunity to win $500! The Wind-down Show with Taylor is the place to be every weekday afternoon!
Taylor works full time for WSNT WACO 100 as a on air DJ, sports director, daily fax editor, news editor, producer, among other activities. He fully embraces his job and loves every minute of the non-stop action the station never fails to produce.
His upbeat attitude and willingness to improve make the Wind-down Show an ongoing project that never ceases to catch listener’s attention. His daily sign off to his radio show hold special meaning to Taylor. “Stay safe in this crazy ole’ world, remember to live, to laugh, to love, and to pray, and always keep it tuned in and turned up to Real Country, Waco 100!”
