The Kaolin Civitan Club recently recognized Pam Josey of the Washington County Emergency Medical Service (EMS) as the EMT of the Year.
Josey was nominated by Washington County EMS Director Alan Smith.
“Pam Josey has always been an outstanding employee,” said Smith when nominating Josey. He added, “She is one of the most caring and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians here at Washington County EMS.”
Most recently, Josey was recognized by the Washington County EMS with a SAVE award for her role in saving a man’s life.
“Pam Josey is well liked by everyone at Washington County EMS and is always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty in regard to patient car and all other aspects of her job,” said Washington County EMS Director Smith.
Smith went on to say that Josey is easy-going, quiet, proficient, and competent.
“I would like her recognized for all the great things she does for the citizens of Washington County every day,” said Washington County EMS Director Smith.
Josey was recognized with a plaque during the Kaolin Civitan Club’s 2017 Washington County Law Enforcement, Firefighter, EMT, and 911 Dispatcher appreciation banquet.
